When it comes to nutrition and diet, foods with more colour generally have more nutrients. So liven up those meals! Not only will the food look more appealing, it will be better for you too! Not only are vitamins A, B, C, and E considered important, new research suggests vitamin D can help protect older women from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Vitamin D being considered beneficial for diseases which occur due to a fault in the immune system. Even though researchers are not entirely sure why, results suggest it does help. To prevent arthritis with healthy living there are four golden rules. Eat a healthy diet, take regular exercise, avoid over stressing the joints and drink plenty of water. Without water, dehydration will soon stress the joints, and create, avoidable, friction to the joints. Today, more than ninety percent of people over the age of sixty five suffer painful joints or arthritis. So, why not take steps right now?
